This year, we’re showcasing a selection of movies that align with the campaign’s theme, “paths out of violence”, highlighting the journeys of strong female protagonists as they break free from violence and reclaim their lives. These powerful stories not only spark discussion but also create a space for a meaningful exchange of thoughts.
FRAUENSTARK! goes beyond traditional cinema to explore sensitive topics in depth. Alongside the films, we offer a vibrant program and two exclusive premieres featuring talks, panel discussions, collaborations, and performances.
For the first time, we’re proud to present the documentary Beyond Silence, that was co-produced by IAMANEH Switzerland and it's partner organisations in Albania. It tells the inspiring stories of resilient women in Albania.
We are also honoured to welcome special guests this year, including political scientist and author Dr. Elham Manea, Serbian Roma feminist Jelena Savić, and Afghan activist Mahbube.
Together, we stand against violence and for the empowerment of women!
