New Coordinators in Burkina Faso and Bosnia and Herzegowina

Our team has recently been strengthened by the addition of new colleagues in Ouagadougou and Sarajevo. Their role will be to intensify the joint work with our partner organisations there.

Bibiane Yoda began her work as Country Coordinator for Burkina Faso in June.

Originally a qualified electronics technician and computer scientist, in 2001 Bibiane's career took her into development work, and increasingly into the areas of gender relations and sexual and reproductive health.  She brings with her a great deal of commitment and experience in the support of partners and firmly believes that effective change and successful projects are only possible through shared responsibility from all actors.

Alongside her work as coordinator, Bibiane will also take over responsibility for a new transnational project involving several partner organisations which will lead to a more open social interaction on the taboo theme of menstruation.

Emina Pasic, the new regional coordinator for Bosnia-Herzogovina, brings with her 15 years of experience with civil society organisations in the Western Balkans.  In addition, she has over 10 years' experience as a consultant including work in the areas of training and project development.

Her talent for networking and her legal training have enabled her to develop successful mechanisms for joint working between civil society organisations and the government, particularly in the areas of women's rights and empowerment.  She is very happy to be combining her private and professional life in supporting the work of Iamaneh in the Western Balkans.
